Who I am
"The reasonable person adapts to the world, the unreasonable person persistently tries to adapt the world to himself. That is why progress also depends on unreasonable people."

I was born and raised in Northern Germany, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to be exact, with one foot in Carinthia, Austria. Today I live with my wife and two almost grown up children near Hamburg in beautiful Schleswig-Holstein.
I've always had many interests – at that time athletics (decathlon) and soccer dominated my life. Today I've added many other sports to senior soccer (for which I'm often too old and too ambitious).
I enjoy reading biographies and technical books, traveling with my family, listening to various genres of music (U2, Grönemeyer, Bosse, Udo Lindenberg) and above all eating good regional and international cuisine! Yet the one thing I can never get enough of are
All my grandma's stews.
My values
My guiding star is freedom. As my main principle it is reflected in all my relationships, whether personal or professional. I also value
Trust
As the basis for honest and sincere interaction, trust is essential for any kind of relationship. Without it, long-term partnerships are not possible. Honest and open communication is the key to long-term success!
Authenticity
"We are all born as individuals and want to die as copies" (Dieter Lange). The pressure to conform is great. But isn't a person full of enthusiasm, desires, and fears much more fascinating? Authenticity is what makes life worth living!
Courage
If we want to make our dreams come true, we have to go our own way. It takes courage to step into the unknown with enthusiasm and optimism. But those who have made the journey know: It's worth it! That is where true growth happens.
